This is the place where the Sangha wants to highlight about its village infrastructure of each Centre upon which it depends for its Primary Health Care programme. Though the Headquarters is situated at Kolkata and all the activities are practically initiated from the Headquarters itself, these are the village organizations who take the main burden of the activities of the Sangha. They are the first line workers.
Naturally, the Sangha is involved into the welfare and stability of these village units. The Sangha has individually registered organization in the villages which are committed for the cause of health care from the very beginning of their formation. Though the primary responsibility are taken by the village centres, the Sangha Headquarters gets involved in the decision making, guiding, planning and controlling of these village organizations.
Inspired by Swami Vivekananda's great ideal "service to man is service to God" the Sangha has taken up its principal task of rural development as it tries to realize the reasons of distress in this sector and and the problems that beset them. It has selected six Centres in the districts of West Bengal :

Owing to political unrest in West Midnapore District in particular at Lalgarh and adjacent villages, the Government of West Bengal has imposed restrictions in movement in the disturbed areas. As a result, the actiities at Lalgarh have been discontinued for about a year and half now. People in general are aware of the situation prevailing there through media reports. Keeping in view the need of the poorest of the poor in this area, we are waiting for the return of normalcy on which we may be able to resume our activities and serve the people which we have been doing.
