Family planning and welfare programme is but an essential part of the overall Rural Development Programme. With a view to create awareness for control of population growth, the Sangha, through its Centres, conducts this programme through Home Visits. As a result, many mothers have been made aware of the importance of the issue and have largely adopted temporary methods for family planning which include use of condoms and tablets. Condoms and tablets are distributed through the Mobile Medical Unit. Laparoscopic Litigation Camps have been organized in Khanpur and Lalgarh Centres where 337 and 317 mothers have undergone strilization operations successfully.
